Halloween #1

We attended the first of several Halloween happenings on our calendar this morning--the local Borders bookstore had a Halloween party for kids. We got there a little late because we had swimming in the morning, so we missed the spooky storytime and the parade around the store, but it was fun nonetheless and the kids looked cute in their costumes. I wasn't crazy about Peyton's costume (it was a gift), but it turned out looking so cute on him. And it was quite a hit with the kids. Sonja's costume was a hand-me-down from Peyton from last year and it was WAY too big for her, so we ditched the pants and just put the top on her.
