New developments
Here are the latest developments with the kids...
Peyton:
Is now talking in complete sentences. OK, not really. He'll say the main words he is trying to convey, like "Peyton", "DVD", and "Thomas", and then throw in a bunch of filler gibberish, so that it sounds like he is saying "Peyton wants to watch the Thomas DVD". It's very cute.
Learned how to say a very bad word that begins with the letter F. Daddy was very quick to blame mommy for that one because, admittedly, mommy says that word WAY too much (harkening back to the softball days of "F.M. (i.e. foul-mouth) Rutledge", but then we realized that he is actually trying to say "truck". It's pretty damn funny when he points to a truck in one of his books and says, "Ooooh, big fu__!"
Sonja:
Is very close to crawling. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth for a few seconds before laying back down on her stomach to rest. When Peyton learned how to do that, he was crawling within a few weeks. If she does that, she will be 2 months ahead of when Peyton first crawled (not that I'm comparing them)
Sprung her first tooth! We couldn't figure out why she was so fussy, and then we felt the proof. That little bugger is sharp!
Stay tuned for more updates...

If Sonja is anything like William, she'll keep doing the rocking back and forth thing the entire time Mom & Dad are there, and then the moment they drive away to go to the airport, she'll crawl right across the room!
Imagine Greg's embarrasment when he let an F-bomb fly yesterday in front of Annalee...and she promptly demanded a fine! He gave her $20, on the condition she never repeat it...yeah, right! Sailor mouths, unite!! :)
I feel like shit! Greg.
