Here are some pics from Sonja's birthday party 2 weekends ago. We had a few friends over, as well as Grandma and Grandpa Vesneski and Auntie Sunday. It was a gorgeous day, so we all hung out outside. It was a fun day (until later that evening when the whole skunk debacle happened, but I already bitched enough about that)

Don't laugh, but I was quite proud of this cake. Who knew that frosting a cake was so friggin' hard??

The party

The opening of the gifts. Notice who is front and center and who has been pushed off to the side. Who's birthday was this, anyway??

Not bad for her first experience with cake

Kid in one hand, beer in the other
