Weekend away

We returned yesterday from a fabulous long weekend in Rochester, NY visiting our good friends Josh and Liz and their 10-month old daughter Eva. It was quite a trip--6 hours each way--but we decided to drive at night (7:00 pm to 1:00 am) so the kids would sleep through most of it (which they did). The weekend was nice and relaxing. We spent most of the days just hanging around Rochester and most nights sitting around the firepit drinking mojitos. It was great. We also spent a day at the beach--actually at "the lake" (Lake Ontario, that is).

All in all, a wonderful weekend. We miss when Josh and Liz lived 7 minutes down the road, but this was the next best thing. We can't wait until our next trip to Rochester!

It's feeding time!

Great pictures! In the second one, does Eva look like Liz, or what? Sounds like a great time was had by all.

Looks like you had a great time! Dad had the exact same thought as I did when I saw the picture of Eva. To bad they don't live just a little closer.
